How to Vote in Ward 2
Your vote decides who represents Ward 2 at the Council table. Here's everything you need to make sure it counts.

Can I vote in Ward 2?
You can vote in the Adjala-Tosorontio municipal election if, on Election Day, you meet all of the following:
A Canadian citizen
You are a Canadian citizen.
At least 18
You are 18 years of age or older.
A resident or property owner/tenant
You live in — or you (or your spouse) own or rent property in Ward 2 in the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio
Not prohibited
You are not otherwise prohibited from voting under the law.

Check your details at voterlookup.ca and watch for your voter notification from the Township. Update or add your information if needed.
Choose how you'll vote
Vote on the advance dates or on Election Day, using the method set by the Township Clerk. Bring valid ID that shows your name and qualifying address.

The Township of Adjala-Tosorontio is located in the southwestern corner of Simcoe County, Ontario. Its geographical borders are defined as follows:
North: Bordered by the Township of Clearview and the Township of Essa (both in Simcoe County).
East: Bordered by the Town of New Tecumseth (Simcoe County).
South: Bordered by the Town of Caledon (in Peel Region).
West: Bordered by the Town of Mono and the Township of Mulmur (both in Dufferin County).
Vote by internet or telephone
For the 2026 Municipal Election, Adjala-Tosorontio Council enacted a by-law authorizing alternative voting methods — internet and telephone voting.
Internet and telephone voting is an accessible and secure alternative that improves voter access by letting eligible electors cast their vote remotely, from a variety of devices, during the voting period.
Electors on the Voters' List at the time of mailing will receive a Voter Information Letter containing:
- Your unique PIN
- Step-by-step voting instructions
- The internet address and telephone number to cast your vote

In-person help & voting
The Township Municipal Centre, 7855 Sideroad 30, Alliston, is the designated Voter Help Centre for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections. During the voting period you can meet trained Election Staff for information and assistance, have your elector information added or revised, and — if you wish — cast your vote there.
Key deadlines
Individuals may apply to revise the Voters' List right up until the end of Voting Day.
Internet and telephone voting is open from Oct 16 at 10 a.m. to Oct 26 at 8 p.m. The Voter Help Centre is open during this period (hours at left).
Electors may cast their vote up until 8:00 p.m.
Need a ride to vote?
Voting is by internet or telephone this year — but if you'd like to vote in person at the Voter Help Centre (Township Municipal Centre, Alliston) on Monday, October 26, Ward 2 residents can request a ride. Let us know and we'll do our best to arrange it.
